High-Protein Greek Yogurt Bagel Bites

These are my go-to when I need a snack that travels well and actually delivers protein. Two bites give you 15 grams, they take 40 minutes start to finish, and they freeze beautifully. No protein bar wrapper required.

If you're someone who's tired of scrambling for an afternoon snack that isn't crackers and cheese (no shade, but it doesn't keep you full), make a batch on Sunday and you're set for the week.

Greek Yogurt Bagel Bites

Servings: 4 (2 bites per serving)   Total time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4½ oz (127g, ~1 cup) unbleached all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ¾ tsp sea salt

  • ⅔ oz collagen powder

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • 1½ tbsp everything bagel seasoning

P.S. My favorite collagen powder is from Legion. I have a discount code VICTORIA if you want to check it out!

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and collagen powder. Add the Greek yogurt and mix until a slightly sticky dough forms.

  3. Form the dough into a single ball. Lightly dust the counter with flour. Divide into 8 equal pieces, roll each into a ball, and place on the parchment.

  4. Brush the whisked egg over each ball. Top with everything bagel seasoning.

  5. Bake for 25 to 28 minutes, until cooked through and golden brown. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before eating.

Nutrition (Per Serving: 2 Bites)

Notes

Storage: Airtight container on the counter or in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Toppings: Cream cheese, nut butter, or butter all work.

No everything bagel seasoning? Use sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and/or flaky sea salt.

Measuring flour: Fluff, spoon into the cup, level with the back of a knife. Don't scoop directly or pack it down — too much flour makes them dry.
