What the days feel like

Big views, steady climbs.

Each day is 8 to 12 miles at a walking pace, with the climbing spread across the whole day... plus breaks, a picnic lunch on the trail and plenty of stops for the view. A guide sets a comfortable pace. No ropes, no climbing gear.

You don't need to be an athlete. You do need to be able to be on your feet for a few hours and do it again the next day. Trail-Ready takes care of the rest, including the downhills, so your knees are ready long before June.

The result: you spend the week enjoying it, not enduring it.

The part only we do

Trail-Ready.

Everyone who books gets Trail-Ready: eight weeks of strength and conditioning written for long days on uneven ground. Strength, hiking mobility, and the descents that protect your knees... so when you get there, your body says yes.

It exists to get a committed, reasonably active person ready by June. That was the whole lesson of Peru: nobody on that mountain was suffering through it, because of the boring work they'd done months before anyone got on a plane.

Where we've been

Peru: an active wellness adventure.

Completed August 2026. Altitude hikes through four Inca sites above Cusco, Machu Picchu Mountain at sunrise, ceviche cooked from a market we shopped ourselves, an afternoon with the Amaru weaving community... and a closing circle on the last night that nobody wanted to end.
